Obituary of William Simons

William John Simons was born to William and Esme Simons at Wawota, Saskatchewan on September 1, 1924 and passed away at Killam, Alberta on January 6, 2013. John was predeceased by his wife, youngest daughter, parents, one sister and two brothers. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his daughter Bette (Vince) Cutrara, sisters Diane Simons and Daisy Adam, brother Marshall (Linda) Simons as well as five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. After a lengthy career in the trucking industry, John purchased a small farm near Athabasca, Alberta where he resided until retiring to Killam, Alberta. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 a.m. on Friday, January 11th at Fee & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
