The Enghoj family has always had a special place in my life and Gordie was more than Killam’s#1 fan. He was just special, everything about the town especially the hockey teams were always the best to him, there wasn’t a girlfriend he didn’t smile at . The community will be diminished by his passing, he was part of the heart and soul of Killam

To the Enghoj Family,
I was very saddened to hear of Gordie's passing. I will forever have many fond memories of him and my time growing up and living in Killam and getting to know him. He always made my day and was a constant reminder after a difficult game, that it was just a game! Gordie would often come and sit beside me in the dressing room and we would "B.S." during my time playing goal in minor hockey and later on for the Wheat Kings and Indians. He was a friend to all he knew and a very well respected member of the town of Killam and surrounding communities. He will be dearly missed. I will forever remember his words and hear his voice saying to me, "You my friend big guy!"
My sympathies to you all.

So happy to have known Geordie for fifty years plus! Had a lot of conversations with Geordie, the one I remember best is when I took my two girls to the arena for figure skating lessons Geordie would say I tie your girls skates. This happened often! He often rode around with my brother Ed in his big truck. Sympathy to his surviving family. He was Mr. Killam for sure! Will be missed! Lawrence and Audrey Dammann and family.

Goodie was so much a part of the community I have trouble thinking of Killam without him.
