Sympathies to all the family! When Ernie was still farming, we would have a great chatting session while we were loading our water for spraying from the bridge of Bellshill lake. He was a super guy and will be dearly missed. Hugs to all the family, Wanda and Buddy Price.

Our prayers & thoughts are with you on the passing of "Ernie." He was a neighbour of mine in the nursing home, and we had long visits as he knew my sons. As you celebrate his life, may the memories bring you comfort. Rest in peace Ernie.

Ernie and vesta and the boys were great neighbors I remember skating on the slough below the hill between our family farms in Cambridge. Later him and dad at ages of 90+ shared a room in killam where they talked about old days of farming and playing ball. I am so greatful that they got this wonderful time together. My sympathies to you all

I cleaned house for Ernie and Vesta for many years, coffee breaks were important to visit. Kept on cleaning after Vesta passed while Ernie was by him self. Ernie would tell stories of war years and the funny things that happened on the farm. Then he was going with Lady from which became his wife, he was a very happy man, and they were married he moved to Lougheed and didn't require any more help. I cherished the years I had and good memories we shared. God bless you Ernie.

I have many memories of Ernest in the hospital in the early ‘70’s A very nice man. Ed has many memories of growing up in the same community as Ernie. Eds mom Mary worked for Ernies parents yrs ago and great grandma Cockbain (Mary’s mom)and great grandma Cookson where friends so Ed says they were back and forth for many gatherings
Ernie and my greatest memory we shared was a cold winter night in the hospital when a farmer from Hardisty was on the only phone in the hall and bellowed out. What do u mean the bull got out!! Poor cows were calving in the cold in February. Ernie sure chuckled about that.
Ernie will be missed he is one of the nicest men I have ever met.
