Obituary of Fred Ball

Fred, our beloved dad, grandpa and great grandpa passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on November 23, 2012 at the age of 82 and is waiting our Lord. He died after struggling with a number of health issues at the Viking Health Care Centre where he was given excellent care by his physician Dr. Nieman and the nursing staff at both the Viking Health Care Centre and the Viking Exyendicare Nursing Centre. Fred is survived by his children Alaire (Mike), Donald (Ruth), Darrell (Rosie) and grandchildren Jason (Christina), Tiffany (Devon), Brandon (Shalom), Travis (Veronica), Jeffrey, Kiaarra and nine great grandchildren. Fred was known by many friends and relatives in the Killam/Sedgewick area where he farmed for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Merna Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2012. If desired, memorial donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Arthritis Society, Suite 307, 10109 - 106 St. NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3L7 or any charity of your choice.
