I remember Mr. Offord taught us typing and I think a career class in 1983 I think. He was very kind to us and always took the time to explain things. He also had a very cool car, an early model Plymouth Barracuda that he parked out front. I am sad to hear that he has passed away and I would like to offer my sincerest condolences.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Offord. He taught both of us at Forestburg School. He always dressed in the hippest clothes, had the shiniest shoes and a cool handle bar moustache. Mr. Offord wore a smile everyday and you could tell teaching was his passion. May he now dance with the angels above.

Love to you all. You both are in some of my fondest memories. I always loved coming home years ago for the Stars dance and one of the reasons was to watch you two dance the night away on that floor. You had such elegance, grace and thoroughly enjoyed each others company! And your fashion sense, impeccable! Thank you for all the memories and all Mr. Offord dedicated to education and community!❤️

One day during class it was a hot summer day mr Offord let me take his car up town to get icecream.
I never thought he would actually let me, I said it more as a joke but when he said yes I brought back icecream for everyone in the class.
Thankyou for your trust and your knowledge you were one of my favorite teachers you'll be truly missed.
RIP❤

Lorna, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Ken. Life is sad when things don't go as we had hoped or planned for, in our lives. Ken was certainly a valuable, active member within his community. He was also a respected Teacher and serving member of the Alberta Teachers' Association. I will always remember Ken for the kind, gentle soul that he was.
