Obituary of Joyce Dianne Fox

Joyce Dianne Fox(Erickson), 68, of Killam, Alberta, passed away on July 1,2018 at MacConnell Place West in Edmonton, Alberta.

Joyce was born in Killam, Alberta to Walter and Hellen Erickson on June 27, 1950. She went to high school at Central High Sedgewick Public School and graduated in 1968. She graduated from the Alberta Nurses association in 1971. Joyce married Bruce Fox in 1982. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Nursing from Athabasca University.  She worked as a Registered Nurse for East Central Health Unit for 12 years. She enjoyed sewing, music, traveling, and puzzles and games with family.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Clare Kirkeby (Dean) of Whitecourt and Son Josh Fox of Edmonton.  She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren Jordan Fox, Bryn Kirkeby, Bailey Kirkeby, and Brooke Kirkeby. She is also survived by her siblings Angela, Roseanne, Kenneth, Ramona and Richard. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her Father and Mother, Walter and Hellen Erickson.

A memorial  service will be held at Killam Community Hall on July 10,2018 at 2:00pm with Reverend Steve Haughland officiating.
