Obituary of Donald Manning

Donald Erol Manning was born to Erol and Algerene Manning on December 25, 1925, in Roseville, California.  He passed away in the Wainwright Health Centre on May 8, 2018, at the age of 92 years.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, son Doug (Lianne) and their children Zandra and Mark (Aaryn), son Dean (Lynn) and their children Tara and Brian, daughter Patti (John) Hovde and their children Lindsay and Jason (Nikki), daughter Leanne (Terry) Sather and their children Lacey (Tanner) Robley and Joel. Great-grandchildren Kate, Josiah, Peyton, Kellan, Tenley, and Tucker.

Don was predeceased by his parents Erol and Algerene Manning, brother Bob, nephews Brian and Clifford, his parents-in-law Bartley and Sadie Swelin, brother-in-law Wally Swelin and grandson Colby Hovde.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Amisk Hall. A memorial luncheon will be provided by the Amisk Ag Society. Memorial donations in memory of Don may be made to the Central Sports Gardens Arena, Box 2, Hughenden, Alberta T0B 2E0 or charity of the donor’s choice.
