Obituary of Sheila Link
Sheila was born to Bill and Doris Green at Rolling Hills, Alberta on May 16th, 1945 and passed away on March 2nd, 2018 at the Hardisty Health Centre at the age of 72 years surrounded by her beloved family after a valiant fight with cancer.
She is survived by her loving fiancé Conrad Klatt; her daughters Lana (Brian) Teers, Cyndy (Jim) Mason, Irene Link, and son Shane Link; four grandchildren Chelsey Teers, Logan Teers, Avaya Link, and Ryder Link; her brothers Hugh(Carol) Green, Ken( Hattie) Green, and sister Jessie Nitz; as well as her brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by Conrad’s sons Shane (Jody) and Cody (Sharon) and grandchildren Trishanna, Serena, Aleah, Matthew, and Joshua. She will also be dearly missed by her four furry companions Fluffer, Kitten, Jed, and Sassy.
Sheila was predeceased by her loving husband Jim Link; and her parents Bill and Doris Green.
Sheila was a hard-working wife, mom and nurse. She loved her garden, her flowers, dancing, camping, swimming, animals, the outdoors and most of all her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Hardisty Community Hall. Memorial donations in memory of Sheila can be made to the Hardisty Hospital Auxiliary.
