Obituary of Dixie Lee Berry

Dixie Lee Berry was born to Lorne Whitney and Patricia Lenora Schneider on April 23, 1954, at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton.

Dixie Lee passed away at the age of 63 years on January 8, 2018, at the University of Alberta Hospital with family by her side.

Dixie Lee is survived by her children Cory (Danielle), Tracy (George), Ryan (Courtney) and Ashley; eleven grandchildren Payton, Liam, Sadie, Jullien, Chloe, Avarey, Kegan, Kaylee, Declan, William and Savannah Rae; her sister Jacqueline Bass; four nephews J.C. (Rickie), Jordan, Jevin and James; one great-nephew Wyatt and two great-nieces Emma and Callie. Dearest and longtime friend Linda Noel and son Shone.

Dixie was predeceased by her parents Lorne Whitney and Patricia Lenora Schneider, nephew Jarred Paul Bass and treasured friend Byron Laviolette.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Alliance Community Hall.  Memorial donations in memory of Dixie may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
