Obituary of George Emiel Williams

George Emiel Williams was born on March 4, 1937 near Strome, AB. He passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017 in Killam, AB at the age of 79 years, less than an hour before his 80th birthday. George is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sybil; daughter Laurel (Wes) and children Leah, Hannah and Ian of Warburg, AB; daughter Sharon (Cory) and children Evan and Kaelyn of Camrose, AB; daughter Rhonda of Edmonton, AB; son David (Laurel) and children Kinzee and Jesse of Strome, AB; sisters Rose Marie Bos and Louise Wylie; brothers-in-law Paul (Lillian) Vanderwoude and Morris (Gwen) Heffel; and many nieces, nephews and friends. George was predeceased by his parents Paul and Blanche (Utterwulghe) Williams; brothers Joseph Williams and Jack Williams; brothers-in-law George Bos and Lionel Wylie; and sisters-in-law Helen Williams and Flora Vanderwoude. Your comfort and support are greatly appreciated. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Killam Baptist Church in Killam, Alberta. Interment will follow the service at Rosevale Cemetery in Strome, Alberta. Please join the family for refreshments and fellowship in the lower Baptist Church Hall following the interment.
