Obituary of Elaine O'Neill

Elaine Claudia O’Neill was born to Elmer and Clara Billow at Hardisty, Alberta on March 16, 1926 and passed away at Red Deer, Alberta on January 12, 2025 at the age of 98 years.

She is survived by her loving children, son Tom O’Neill (Carol), daughter Bonnie O’Neill and son Jack O’Neill; six grandchildren Sandra O’Neill (Ringo), Brenda O’Neill, Jaime Janko-Stafford (Terell), Thomas O’Neill (Stephanie), Karla Mathieu (Justin) and Jackson O’Neill; six great-grandchildren David O’Neill, Brandon and Ashlyn Gavel, Taylor and Jenna Mathieu, and Mia Stafford.

Elaine was predeceased by her husband Thomas O’Neill and siblings Bill Billow, Wanda Tweedy and Weltha Mikkelson.

A funeral service and internment was held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Sedgewick Cemetery with Helen Reed officiating.
