Obituary of Vernon Coates

Vernon Alan Coates was born at Cereal, Alberta on March 31, 1934 and passed away in the Killam Health Care Centre on October 6, 2015 at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his loving wife Violet; three children Karen (Tony) Lee, Glen, Katherine (Terry) Parsons; five grandchildren Jon Belous, Grant Belous, Ryan (Raelyn) Parsons, Kimberly (Aaron) Oberg and Rylee Coates; great granddaughter Zooey Oberg; his sister Margaret Osborne; two brothers Clinton (Bertha) Coates, Gordon (Dolores) Coates and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Vernon was predeceased by his parents Frank and Lillian Coates, his sister Frances, brother-in-law Bill Osborne, mother and father-in-law Clara and Bill Sellick. Memorial donations in memory of Vernon may be made to a charity of the donor's choice
