Obituary of Norman Wegenast

Norman Fred Wegenast was born on November 9, 1935 near Galahad, Alberta and lived his life in the Killam/Galahad area until passing away in the U of A Hospital, surrounded by family, on September 23, 2015. He will always be remembered for his love of family, sense of humor and ability to make friends. Norman is survived by his children and families: Ron (Lori) and Aaron, Drew, Baillie, Avrie Bish, Deanne (Darin), Lane Maddison Bish, Jordan (Jasmine), Braeden, Tyler Wegenast; Jaci (Brad) Fenti and Tennille (Dave), Zachary, Teagan Bazuske, Christy, Mackenzie Rabby, Jesse (Angela), Jayzee, Sheanna Stewart, Amy Stewart; Lee (Adam); Fred (Sharry) and Rhiannon (Matt) Wegenast, Brian (Jesslyn), Brett (Kailyn); Lana Eldey and Marlaina, Krysta (Mitch), Seanna, Errol Eldey; son-in-law Dan Eldey and numerous friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Pleasington Lutheran Historical Church. Lunch will follow at the Knox United Church, Killam.
