When Tom retired in 1984, they relocated to the country life of Lougheed, Alberta. Marjorie enjoyed doing her needlework, the bridge club and looking for the best chokecherries and saskatoons. She did a lot of canning like a true prairie gal.
She helped Tom with Looney Bins and co-wrote The Beginners Bridge Book with her friend Wilma Burchill.

She is survived by her son Tom W. (Heather), grandson Tom J. (Katrina), granddaughter Katherine, great-grandson Tommy A., her sisters Marie Roth and Alice Gallo and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Tom and son Conrad.
