Obituary of Glen Coates

Glen Alan Coates was born on July 5, 1962 in Killam, AB and passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 61 years. 

Glen is survived by his loving mother Violet Coates, daughter Rylee (Brandon) Martz, granddaughter Mylah Martz, sisters Karen Coates (Tony Lee) and Katherine (Terry) Parsons, step-daughter Amber (Stephan) Stoodley, uncle Gordon (Dolores) Coates, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is predeceased by his father Vernon Coates, grandparents Clara and Bill Sellick and Frank and Lillian Coates, step-son Aaron Stoodley and grandson Jayden Danylak. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Killam Community Hall on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  In honour of Glen's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
