Shirley was our neighbour,our friend. She was kind,funny and you knew she loved life. Her little dog Maggie was her companion and they were inseparable. Maggie adored Shirley even when in trouble for chasing cars and threatened with a “spanking”.
Shirley talked often of her dear “Mac”and was so proud of her family.
Our first summer in Hardisty,outside painting,along comes Shirley with Maggie. Shirley stops,sits down in her walker and says”I just love to watch people work” and she laughed and laughed,but that became our thing,me working on whatever and her sitting and visiting. Priceless
We were blessed to know you Shirley,even if for a short time. Rest well,always in our thoughts
