Obituary of Brian Oberg

Brian Hjalmar Oberg of Lacombe, AB, formally of Forestburg, AB, passed away suddenly on the 27th of April 2022 at the age of 71 in Red Deer Regional Hospital. He was the second child of Ivan and Jean Oberg. Survived by his sisters Vivian Oberg, Linda (Edwin) Streich, Joyce (Dave) Biggs, sister-in-law Joyce A. Oberg, brother Dale (Sandy) Oberg and numerous nieces and nephews. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lenore (Steadman); his son Sheldon (Amanda) and granddaughters Kara and Elizabeth of Red Deer; his daughter Jolene (Jamie) Murray, grandson Deagan and granddaughter Amica of Blackfalds. Brian is also remembered by Lenore’s family: her mother Evelyn Steadman, sister Marie (Robert) Palmer, brother Ken (Penny) Steadman, three nieces and one nephew. Brian was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Jean, brother Dwayne, nephew Bill Johnson and his father-in-law John Steadman. A private family service will be held. Memorial donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
