Obituary of Teresa Bowlby

Teresa Ann Bowlby was born to Ruby and Alex Farquharson on September 2, 1953 in Killam, Alberta. She was the middle child of five. Teresa married Bill Spitzer in 1972. Their son Colin was born in 1973. She lost Bill in 1978 to cancer and she later married John Bowlby. She moved to Killam in 2009 when her health started to decline and mobility became as issue. Teresa passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Alex Farquharson, husband Failen (Bill) Spitzer, and husband John Bowlby, special friend Ron Corsiatto, and special friend Stewart Martindale. She leaves to mourn her son Colin (Renata) Spitzer, two grandsons Rylen and Kai, three brothers Jim (Sharon) Farquharson, Larry (Brenda) Farquharson, Gary (Brenda) Farquharson, and one sister Leanna (Perry Gordon), numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Killam Knox United Church with Reverend Richard Conrad officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Teresa may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
