Obituary of Bruce Curtis

Bruce was born October 29, 1952 at the Killam Hospital. He grew up in Strome, attended NAIT and worked in the telecommunications industry for 35 years in Edmonton and Calgary, retiring in Strome in 2009. Bruce passed away December 23, 2014 at the University Hospital. He will be remembered for his love of family, his integrity and his humorous approach to life's many challenges. He will be greatly missed by Pat, his loving wife of 40 years, his sons Daniel (Kate), Brian and daughter Sarah. He also leaves to mourn his father Gordon Curtis, brother David (Charlotte) and sister Joan (Charles) Stoddart. Uncles Phillip Rawe and Buster (Myrna) Curtis, in-laws Jackie and Morris Candlish, Rod and Ingrid McCarroll, Judy and Ken Purches, Vic and Marilyn McCarroll, Rock and Heather McCarroll, Dirk and Shelley McCarroll. Bruce will also be mourned by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Bruce was predeceased by his mother, Mina and brother Rodney. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
