Obituary of James Crawford

James Robert Crawford of Forestburg, Alberta passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 with his family at his side, at the age of 83 years. He is survivied by his two daughters Jean (Ray) Jackson, Laurie (Ron) Melnyk; five grandchildren Jill, Leanne, Garret, Mitchell and Kendall; five great-grandchildren; four sisters Joan Crawford, Reta (Fred) LeGear, Gwen (Gordon) McLeod, Mary Fortune; one brother-in-law Don Campbell. Jim was predeceased by his wife Irene; parents David and Helen; four brothers Bill, Jack, Dave, Doug and two sisters Jean Campbell and Nan Nicol. A funeral service will be held on at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Forestburg Community Centre. Interment to take place in the Pleasington Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Daysland Hospital Foundation or the Bethel United Church.
