Obituary of Merle Vincett

Merle Joyce Vincett was born to Archie and Freda Currie at Pilot Mound, Manitoba on November 18, 1928 and passed away in the Killam Health Care Centre on February 22, 2014 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, daughter Ellen Hockley, granddaughter Karen (Geoff) Hockley, great-grandson Kenneth, her sister Margaret (David) McDonald of North Battleford, seven sisters-in-law Bertha, Mabel (Elmer), Dorothy, Mil, Aileen, Ida, Alice, niece Margaret (Peter), nephew Ross and four grandnieces and one great grandniece. Merle spent most of her adult life as a school teacher and a librarian and during retirement she enjoyed a friendship with many former students. Her church and her faith were always important to her and carried her through many difficult times and was always a comfort for her. Memorial donations in memory of Merle may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
