Obituary of Esther Moser
Esther Gertrude Moser was born to Tony and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hauser at Strome, Alberta on January 9, 1922 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 11, 2013 in the Killam Continuing Care Centre at the age of 91 years.
Esther married Norbert Moser in St Peters Catholic Church on November 23, 1942. They farmed north of Killam where they raised their five children Donna, Bonnie, Jack, Norma Jean and Rita. Esther's interests were homemaking, cooking and gardening. Her greatest loves were her family, friends and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Esther is survived by her children: Donna (Ron) Korpan, Sr. Bonnie Moser FCJ, Jack (Sharon) Moser, Norma Jean (Barry) Bieleny, Rita Moser, 14 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 1 brother Harold (Henriette) Hauser, numerous family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Norbert (1991), 2 brothers Allen and Ken, 1 sister Joyce and her parents Tony and Elizabeth Hauser. Esther will be fondly remembered for her generosity and thoughtfulness towards others.
Esther's family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to her caregivers at the Killam Continuing Care Centre for making her time there so special.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Killam.
